The Art of the Song at the Hadley Library is an ongoing series featuring top local songwriters discussing their craft and playing their songs. Lisa Bastoni is a Valley local who won 2019 Best New Artist at Kerrville Folk Festival, and has been nominated for many other top awards. She’s opened for Lori McKenna, Dar Williams, Teddy Thompson, and many others.

I'll open with a few songs, Lori will follow with a few. Then we’ll sit down to analyze the writing process for one of her most meaningful songs, including questions from the audience. We finish with a short song swap.
